Do I need a laptop, or does it work on my phone?+

Works on any device with a browser: phone, tablet, laptop, POS terminal. We recommend using it on a tablet for best UX at the counter.

What if my internet goes down?+

SmartBill is offline-first. Everything is stored on your device via IndexedDB. Bills, products, customers — all accessible even when the WiFi is down. It syncs to the cloud once you're online again.

Can I use it on more than one device?+

Yes — your access URL works on any device you open it on. First open bookmarks it as your shop. All devices share the same data via the cloud sync.

Do I need to install an app from Play Store?+

No. SmartBill is a PWA — a modern web app. Open the URL once, tap 'Add to Home Screen'. Behaves like a native app after that. No Play Store install.

What about GST invoicing?+

Full GST support: HSN codes, CGST/SGST split, IGST for interstate, amount in words. Add your GSTIN in settings and every invoice is GST-compliant.

How do I pay?+
